A nice picture of the beast shimmering in the sunshine. Note all of the room around us. Most of the people have left the fairground camping due either to the covid or the fact the fair was d due to start soon. I mean really soon. We were betting a cancellation due to this deadly pandemic that is raging around us, so were didn't make any other plans after wedding in SoCal was cancelled.
Natalie and Greg practicing exiting out of the egress window in the bunk room. It didn't go well. It was decided that if she ever really needs to use the window for escape, she should though out all her bedding. That way she may have a kind of soft ground. Jump out and hope for the best.
This is our test to see if we can leave this new storage 'pantry' in place with slides from both side closed. The answer is yes, IF. If we lift the bookshelf up an inch so the curved part of the slide slips beneath in.
We did not discover this fact until we smashed the metal vent over the furnace into the mangled mess. Now I need to find a new Now I need to find a new cover just the right size. That should be easy!?! Thankfully it behind the garbage can so it can wait for a little while.
Our moving the trailer man is back in Texas. Poor little Reba is just not strong enough to pull this beastly creature we live in. This is us moving her for the very first time.
Uhaul style. Natalie's friend Ryan came to help us out, just in case we crashed and burned.
All in all, it only took about a half an hour to hook and move her. Not bad for the very first time!
Now that our first solo move is over, we decided to plant some flowers. Nothing like making it feel more homey and comfortable. There is a tomato plant and lemon tree, just for fun. And, of course, the cactus I bought in Arizonia on our way back from our first trip back to Minnesota way back in 2014, completes our garden.
Greg adds some varnish to the table all of the kids painted for my birthday back in 2017. It is getting a bit fade in the bright California sun, but is still brightens up our 'yard'.
This is how we celebrate our bit of springtime as we enjoy our first as full-time RVers/
