Only you will have stars that can laugh.

Trying to remember one good day, but it the good keeps slipping away:

Sitting in the living room. The room we are never supposed to be in. Scraggly green and yellow shag carpet tickles are knees and ankles and toes. We climb up onto the reclining chair and snuggle in closer as she reads.

The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart. Antoinede Saint-Exupéry

The story is long and sometimes confusing, but this never happens. This uninterrupted time with her.

The big sister from far away.

The Little Prince

You—you alone will have the stars as no one else has them...In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night...You—only you—will have stars that can laugh. Antoinede Saint-Exupéry
